Dr. Khadar Vali Shaik is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Assistant Professor with extensive expertise in facial, oral and dentoalveolar reconstructive surgical procedures. He currently practices as a Specialist Maxillofacial Surgeon at Burjeel Hospital, Al Khuwair, Muscat and Life Line Hospital, Sohar — alongside academic duties at Oman Dental College.

He earned his Ph.D in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2019) with thesis work in tissue engineering and stem-cell therapy for maxillofacial skeletal defect reconstruction. He holds an MDS in Maxillofacial Surgery, the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPS), a US Fellowship in dental implantology from the International Congress of Oral Implantology (FICOI), and the global TMJ Foundation Fellowship (FTMJ, 2024–25).

His clinical interests span maxillofacial trauma, salivary gland and oral pathology, orthognathic and sleep-apnea surgery, microvascular reconstruction, basal and sinus-augmentation implantology, and 3D-printed biocompatible reconstruction. He has authored a book and 15+ peer-reviewed publications, and serves as a reviewer for several Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery journals.
